The
aim of the OTS conferences is to encourage close cooperation between
people conducting research on component-related technologies and
their users. Therefore, sessions usually incorporate papers presenting
new technologies, those presenting a technology performance results
and/or specific technologies in practice. OTS'2004 is devoted to
changes in the IT industry related to Slovenia's full membership
in the EU. We encourage authors to submit papers related to the
goals, solutions and problems related to this change. Conference
topics are:
- Model Driven Architectures (MDA),
- Information Portals
- UML with an emphasis on version 2.0,
- Techniques and methods for the software size estimation of
object-oriented and component-based projects
- Patterns and their influence on development process and quality
- Improvements in software development methods (agile and conventional)
- Business interoperability with standards like ebXML, BPMI,
RosettaNet and BPEL4WS, their comparison with previous standards
(EDI, XLANG, WSFL) and practical experience with supporting standards
(freebXML, Collaxa, BPWS4J, BizTalk, ChoreoServer).
- translation proposals for new English technical terms and their
consistent use in practice
Take the challenge and present your knowledge, experiences and
results with technologies related to conference topics. Your contribution
will help organizers preserve the excellence of previous OTS conferences
in Maribor (Slovenia). To submit a paper or get more details please
contact Mr. Ales Zivkovic at ales.zivkovic@uni-mb.si.
